Platinum Asset Management engaged VC Systems to design and implement several video enabled conference rooms as part of a major refurbishment across two floors of their Sydney offices.

During the initial consultation, Zoom was chosen as the preferred platform as it met their key requirements for a video conferencing system: A simple, seamless experience for staff to start or join meetings and a strong emphasis on powerful calendar integration and room booking.

We were faced with an acoustically challenging environment in the two large boardrooms so the use of a Biamp Tesira Forte DSP with Parle microphones provided the solid audio outcome synonymous with the Biamp brand.
A stylish Heckler Zoom Room console with iPad was used for meeting controls and Sony Pro Bravia panels for the displays.

In several of their small to medium rooms we installed 55” DTEN D7 All-In-One Interactive Zoom Rooms.  This provided simple, minimalistic but fully featured Zoom Rooms for staff to book smaller focused sessions or on-the-go meetings where interactive whiteboarding enhances workflow.

Several Huddle Rooms with D-Shaped media tables, were fitted out with 49” Pro Bravia displays, Crestron Mercury all-in-one speaker/microphone and Zoom Room controller complimented by a small form factor Aver CAM340+ camera with wide field of view to encompass those participants sitting closest to the screen.

We were tasked with designing and installing the audio and visual requirements for the large Staff Area and Kitchen.  As this incorporated an exposed ceiling design, we used stylish QSC pendant speakers driven by a high end QSC amplifier and provided multi zone volume control.  An 85” Sony Pro Bravia display with Foxtel, terrestrial TV and streaming apps rounded off the space nicely.

All conference rooms included an external Room Booking Panel which consisted of a Heckler Side Mount with iPad Mini.
